Who Slaughtered Patricia On The St Patrick’s Trail?
Patricia Reynolds’ body has been found at the entrance to Castle Ward after being reported missing, but detectives don’t believe that she was murdered here. Few leads have been uncovered so we need your help to solve the murder, recommending that you start your search at Inch Abbey (near Downpatrick) which she often visited.
- The St Patrick’s Trail Whodunit Hunt starts at the historic Inch Abbey site and ends at Kilclief Castle (see picture) on the coast, a few miles east of Downpatrick.
- This is a self-guided, near-circular driving murder mystery trail.
- On the clue route you will pass pretty coastal scenery whilst visiting numerous impressive and historic sites, some dating as far back as the 5th Century and the arrival of St Patrick near Strangford! You’ll see castles, Inch Abbey, a Game Of Thrones location, the site of the first church in Ireland… and much more. There’s an opportunity for wildlife spotting too!
